Arando la escucha

This work was created in collaboration with musician Mateo Marín Calderón. This performance is a continuation of my video essay Absent Body. The piece weaves together fragments from bell hooks' The Will to Change and my personal reflections about my father. Using a daylight projector, I project his silhouette from the last photos I took of him. On stage, I incorporate movement, tracing my own silhouette with chalk on the floor and in the air.
